Leaving Certificate
The Leaving Certificate (referred to as Leaving Certificate Established) is a two-year programme that aims to provide learners with a broad, balanced education while also offering some specialisation towards a particular career option.
Coláiste Iascaigh offers students a varied curriculum and endeavours to facilitate students subject choices when developing the timetable for senior cycle. To support students through their leaving cert journey, Coláiste Iascaigh incorporates a number of wellbeing programmes into the senior cycle curriculum. These include computer class, physical education, career guidance and SPHE.

Leaving Cert Assessment
Subjects are assessed by an examination paper and additional methods including oral and aural examinations, practical examination and assessment of practical coursework at the end of the two-year programme of study. Further information is available on the States Examination Commission website.
