Well done to all students who participated in Math’s Week. We had students doing a range of activities throughout the different year groups. We had a Math’s Quiz, puzzles, Izak 9 cubes, online math’s games, Math’s Trail with first and second years.  Third years got to go to the ATU for a talk by Dr. Fernando Blasco who is a mathematician and lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He uses magic to introduce the public to topics such as prime numbers, knot theory, sudoku, topology, number systems, mind games, calendars or quick calculation. Thanks to Dr Fionn Downes for the invitation and a big thank you to Ms Moran for bringing the 3rd years. Well done to everyone in the Math’s Department.
