Dear Parent / Guardian,
On Friday, November 8th, our 6th Year and LCA1&2 students will be visiting Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Sligo and Sligo College of Further Education (SCFE) for their Open Days.
This is a great opportunity for students to explore further and higher education options available to them locally. Please encourage your child to make the most of this day by actively engaging with the various programs and opportunities presented. I will also be discussing this with them before our trip.
For more information on the developments at ATU, please click here. A free shuttle bus will be in operation from ATU Sligo to ATU St. Angelas campus.
Additionally, I want to highlight that SCFE has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Ulster, offering students advanced entry and preferential pathways into several courses (click here). This makes the visit even more significant for our students.
Students should be in full school uniform for Fridays trip, PE uniform not allowed. Students will be back at school for 1.20pm finish.
